Textbook: Charles P. McKeague, Algebra with Trigonometry .
Course contents: Materials chosen from Chapter 1 - 8, and 11.
Grading Policy:
Final Grade : Attendance: 50%, in class work or quizzes: 50%.
Notice : This is the S(satisfactory)/U(unsatisfactory) only course. If your final grade is
70% or higher, you will meet the course requirements and get a S which is not
calculated in the quality point average; If you get a U, you do get 0 point.
In class work and Quizzes: I'll assign class work or quiz everyday. Most of it will be open book or open note one, and the purpose is to let students practise and grasp basic mathematical skills.
Attendance Attendance is heavily required. I'll take a record for attendance by simply let students sign their initials each time.
